In Search of 6 Pack Abs

by new weightlifter

I'm just starting to train myself and get bigger and have a six pack but now i need to know what sort of things to eat in the morning, lunch, dinner etc... could you help me please?

Congrats on getting started with a new training routine. How exciting!

If your goal is to gain size and drop body fat so those 6 pack abs show through, you're going to have to eat enough calories to support your training, but not too many so that you get/stay lean! Also, adequate protein will be necessary to support muscle growth.

I'd suggest consuming balanced meals every 3-4 hours. (This is NOT my advice for people who are NOT trying to "get bigger"!!!) Be sure to include lean protein with all of your meals...for example egg whites, turkey breast, chicken, light tuna, etc.

If I were to work with you, I'd want to know your stats (ht, wt, age) and your exact goals. I'd also want to hear your food preferences and what you normally eat and/or have access to. I could calculate the exact number of calories, grams of protein, carb, fat that you need everyday and could then translate the numbers into exact meals (including portions) for you based on
your food preferences. Let me know if you'd like to set up an appt. We could talk through Skype.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
