Trouble Losing Weight

(uk)

Why am I not losing weight?

I have been trying to cut down on what I eat now for 2 weeks, but my weight has gone up half a stone.

I eat porridge for breakfast, crackerwheats or pasta & a low fat yogurt for lunch, fresh veg & meat for dinner & fruit for snacks throughout the day.

I've been going to the gym 4 times a week for 2 hours at a time & have mostly done CV work. I can't explain it. I have always been able to lose weight quite easy in the past. I'm not pregnant either! Help!

I understand how frustrated you must be!!

First off, keep a food log! You may be eating the right types of foods, but simply too much of them.

Seeing everything you eat in black and white often sheds light on the problem!! You must create a 3,500 calorie deficit in order to lose one pound of body fat. Calories matter.

And finally, I think you need to give it more time. Weight loss is a process and it's often slow!

Hang in there!
